Being a craft addict.
It's true and so many of us are here and we do it day in day out so here we go.
Confessions of a craft addict episode one:
Step one: Admit I have a problem.
Well I have a whole room full of this little problem. Sewing, Quilting, Machine embroidery, Textiles, Hand embroidery, Knitting, Scrap booking ... ALL OF IT! I have a PROBLEM!
Step two: Document the problem...
Welcome to the Craft room of doom.
My sewing center and general crafting area... my desk. And chair, covered in work clothing.
The other half's computer (which I'm currently using) and the cupborad in the corner that stores all things inappropriate for my 2 year old niece. Who LOVES Mel and her room!
In the middle we have Junk Storage ... or where I keep my cutting board and a beautiful photo taken by my sister in law... Fishing trawler at sunset.
And the last hideous place the storage boxes of S**T for craft... where my paycheck goes to DIE! There is a little bit of everything in here. Dies, paints, inks, fabric, and threads (two boxes) and so so much more!
And finally two of the three beasts I share the room with. Dex valiantly trying to stop me getting in an Cujo keeping the floor warm by my chair. (Husband was playing golf during the photo session!)
So as you can see I have a craft room and a craft problem ... the Problem is this
Step three: Now face the TRUE problem....
I am creative and talented ... SO my mother says but as everyone knows... I have approximately 1000000 half finished things to do.
Now you know the Where tomorrow (after a good nights sleep) we tackle the what and we aim to see if it is actually possible to FINISH SOMETHING I START!!!
xoxo Melanie.
